Colleen was introduced to CrossFit in 2013 while preparing to join the United States Air Force. She served four years on active duty in Japan as an F-16 Crew Chief. During that time, she earned her CrossFit Level 1 certification and began laying the foundation for her coaching career.
After separating from the military in 2018, Colleen began coaching CrossFit affiliate classes and has continued coaching ever since. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Lakeland University and, following graduation, taught strength and conditioning techniques at the college level.
Wrestling was Colleen’s primary sport growing up and strongly shaped her approach to training. In 2024, she gave birth to her first child, which sparked an interest in helping women navigate the return to training after pregnancy. She is particularly interested in the space between the standard six-week postpartum clearance and a confident return to athletic training. Colleen is nearing completion of her Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism certification.
She is currently coaching and training clients in Wisconsin.
